Dutch East Indies in World Cup

Although still using the name of the Netherlands, Dutch East Indies or Dutch East Indies became the first Asian country in the World Cup. Unfortunately, because of "political Nederlandsche Indische Voetbal Unie or NIVU", then the best players of Indonesia, such as kippers PSIM, Maladi, competing in the arena was canceled.

There are two name changes that occurred. If in some literature mentioned that Kolle and Van Beusekom in the list of teams, the fact that there is Samuels and Teilherber.

Eleven core players the Dutch East Indies is derived kippers Mo Heng Tan; defender Hu Kon and Samuels; Nawir midfielder as captain, Meng, and Anwar, the rest act as attackers, namely Tan Hong Djien, Soedarmadji, Zomers, Pattiwael, and Taihuttu.
The only appearance in the World Cup to date, it ended with a 0-6 defeat, which was watched by about eight thousand spectators.
